Peer Tutoring
Access tutoring tailored to your coursework and academic needs.
Find Your Ideal Fit
Peer tutoring at the Learning Centers can help you review your current coursework, deepen your understanding of the subject, or prepare for an exam or assignment. You'll find a collaborative environment where students, faculty, and tutors work together to enhance academic and personal growth.
Drop-in group tutoring is offered in-person at each of our four Rutgers–New Brunswick campus locations and online. Tutoring is free and subject-specific.
One-on-one tutoring is offered in partnership with the School of Art and Sciences Honors Program (SASHP). In-person and online appointments are available in the fall and spring semesters only and must be scheduled 48 hours in advance, up to four times a week.
About Our Tutors
The Learning Centers' peer tutors are Rutgers undergraduate and graduate students who have previously earned an A or B+ grade in the course for which they provide tutoring. The tutors understand the challenges of the course and are eager to help you succeed as well. All tutors receive ongoing training in current best practices and strategies relevant to their tutoring discipline.
