Student Services

Reach your full academic potential at Rutgers Learning Centers.

Support for All Learners

Find the support you need, in the spaces and settings where you learn best. From one-on-one tutoring and group study sessions to online tipsheets, asynchronous learning modules, and more, there are services for every student at the Learning Centers.

Peer Tutoring is available either in a walk-in group format on all campuses or one-on-one through our partnership with the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program.

Study groups are led by trained peers and invite students to work with each other to review course material and learn study strategies—note taking, problem solving, and test preparation—that link course content with cognitive skill development.

Improve your academic and self-management skills; such as time management, critical thinking, and studying; in one-on-one meetings with an academic coach or group sessions with a peer coach.

Writing tutoring supports a variety of disciplines and courses. Our tutors meet students individually about brainstorming topics, organizing ideas, formulating a thesis, structuring paragraphs, and developing an argument.
