Computer Science LA Anti-Bias Training (CS Learning Assistants/Peer Leaders Only)

This workshop is for Introduction to Computer Science (CS 111) and Data Structures (CS 112) LAs only and counts as one professional development workshop towards the semester. During this training, peer leaders will explore biases held in the computer science field, examine commonly held ideas about identities such as gender in the field, consider forms of oppression, and determine practical ways to minimize or eliminate the presence of bias within their roles with students.
