Kate Woolsey earned a master’s in management from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. She also holds certifications in coaching, ADHD, and higher education teaching and assessment.

Before joining Rutgers, Kate taught leadership, organizational change, and project management at Fontys University in the Netherlands, where she worked with students from more than 40 countries. While living overseas, she also founded an award-winning coaching practice. Earlier in her career, Kate held leadership roles at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Boston Children’s Hospital.

As an Academic Coach in the Learning Centers, Kate specializes in supporting students with ADHD using a personalized, strengths-based approach and evidence-based strategies.
